James is a british actor from East Yorkshire currently based in London. In 2016 James graduated from The Royal Academy of Music with a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre. Prior to RAM he spent three years at SLP College, Leeds graduating in 2013 with a Trinity National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and an Associate of The London College of Music.
Whilst training at The Royal Academy Of Music, James' credits have included; Jack/Big Tim in 'Rags' at The Theatre Royal Stratford East directed by Hannah Chissick, Lavrenti in 'Caucasian Chalk Circle' directed by Mia Soteriou. 'Timothy Blauvelt/Doctor in Howard Goodall's 'Love Story' directed by Lisa Blair, Much in 'Hood' written and directed by Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Finn and Eddie in a new Workshop musical of Oscar Wilde's 'The Happy Prince' written by Michael Barry and Hal Cazelet and directed by Maria Friedman.
In 2009 James became an Associate of The National Youth Music Theatre and appearing in their production of Howard Goodhall and Melvyn Bragg's 'The Hired Man'. The Production marked the opening of the New Hull Truck Theatre based on Ferensway in Hull and was later performed at a special gala performance at The Vanburgh Theatre, RADA in London.
